Access to Sendai Airport or Sendai Railway Station

There are direct flights to Sendai Airport from Seoul and China (Beijing and Shanghai). Participants landing at Narita, Nagoya or Kansai International Airports can transfer to a domestic flight to Sendai, or those who land at Narita International Airport can access JR Sendai Station (downtown Sendai) by train or long-distance bus. Access from Sendai Airport to Downtown Sendai

Participants landing at Sendai Airport can access JR Sendai Station, which is located at the center of downtown Sendai, via Sendai Airport line. Please refer to the detailed information about the Sendai Airport Line at the Sendai Tourism Website.

Access to the venue

The symposium will be held at the Kawauchi-Kita Campus, Tohoku University, which is located about 2.5 kilometers west of JR Sendai Station along "Aoba Street". Participants can get to the venue by bus, No. 710, 713, 715, 718, and 719 from JR Sendai Station (Bus Stop No. 9). The closest bus stop to the venue is "Tohokudai, Kawauchi Minami Campus". Please refer to the bus stop map of Sendai Station shown below.
